Cowgirl Close-Ups: Alisha Bass

Day 8 – Junior defender Alisha Bass, a native of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, is the third student-athlete featured in the Cowgirl Close-Up series.

Other than soccer, what is your favorite sport to watch or play?
“Rugby League”

Other than Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex, where is your favorite place to play?
“Hawaii”

Of your teammates, who would be on a reality show and what would it be?
“Cassidy (Entsminger) and Shaina (Alshouri); The Bachelor”

What are your biggest pet peeves?
“Sprinklers in unnecessary places and when people don’t replace the toilet paper roll”

Do you have a special or secret talent?
“I can cross my toes”

Bass transitioned from midfielder to defender at the beginning of the 2015 campaign, and proved to be a key player in the Cowgirl defense, starting in all 20 games of the season. She scored two goals and finished the year with five points. Logging a team-high 1,843 minutes, Bass was named honorable mention All-Mountain West.
