Cowgirl Close-Ups: Mandy Meyer

Day 3 – Mandy Meyer, a midfielder from Tustin, California, sat down for a few questions in anticipation of the upcoming year and her last as a Cowgirl.

Other than soccer, what is your favorite sport to play?

“I love tennis!”


With the Olympics coming up, what is your favorite sport to watch other than soccer?

“Beach volleyball”

What is the most interesting class you’ve taken at Wyoming?

“Integrative Physiology


Do you have a special or secret talent?

“I can fit into a lot of suitcases”


Meyer started in all 20 matches a season ago, the only Wyoming midfielder to do so, and tallied 1,721 minutes of action. Meyer has logged 5,342 minutes of playing time in her Cowgirl career, most of any player on the roster. She recorded one goal during the 2015 campaign, which was the game-winner against Boise State (10/23).
