The University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club (CJC) will be hosting a public reception on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Hitching Post Inn in Cheyenne, beginning at 6 p.m. Cowboy football coach Joe Glenn, Cowboy basketball coach Steve McClain, Cowgirl basketball coach Joe Legerski, swimming & diving coach Tom Johnson and UW athletics director Tom Burman along with student-athletes and staff from the athletic department are set to attend. The event is free and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The reception is presented by Cheyenne Light Fuel & Power.
Appetizers along with beer and soft drinks will be included.
The CJC Laramie County fund drive got underway on Feb. 5 and will run until Feb. 20. Volunteers are hitting the streets and making phone calls on behalf of CJC to get members to renew their membership for 2007 and to hopefully get new members involved with CJC.
