The University of Wyoming Athletics Department has announced a number of staff promotions that became effective in July.
Tim Collins has been promoted to the position of Associate Athletics Director for Development within UW’s Cowboy Joe Club. He previously served as Assistant Athletics Director for Development with the Cowboy Joe Club.
Tyson Drew has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Facility Operations and Event Management. Drew was Wyoming’s Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Event Management prior to his promotion.
In a newly-created position, Joi Thomas will serve as Assistant Athletics Director for Administration. She previously served as Associate Director of Sports Medicine at UW.
Amy Dambro and Amil Anderson have each been promoted to the positions of Director of Media Relations. They both previously served as Assistant Media Relations Directors within the Wyoming Athletics Department.
“We have many talented and dedicated staff members who work very hard to make Wyoming Athletics the best it can be,” said UW Athletics Director Tom Burman. “We are happy to be able to reward their efforts whenever possible to recognize them for their outstanding work. I want to congratulate this year’s group of individuals who we’ve promoted for their dedication to Cowboy and Cowgirl Athletics.”
