Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming Cowboy fans will be able to listen to live radio broadcasts of Cowboy games in the Denver market this coming year, as KDSP 102.3 "The Ticket" in Denver will carry all 12 Wyoming football games and a minimum of 12 men's basketball games during the 2011-12 season.
Learfield Sports and University of Wyoming Sports Properties announced on Friday the addition of "The Ticket" as a Cowboy Sports Network affiliate again this year.
"We are very excited to again be the home for Wyoming Football in the Denver metro market," said Sean Brennan, Sports Marketing Director for Front Range Sports Networks. "Wyoming Football is a regional institution and an extremely important part of the sports landscape in Colorado. We look forward to helping build the Wyoming Football brand and helping promote the outstanding educational institution that is the University of Wyoming. Go Pokes!"
"We are very pleased to partner with 102.3 The Ticket once again this season and to have it as the home for Wyoming Football and Basketball in the Denver market," said University of Wyoming Sports Properties General Manager Jared Newland. "We feel it is important that Denver area alumni, fans and friends of the University have the opportunity to have Dave (Walsh) and Kevin (McKinney) bring Cowboy Football and Basketball to them."
