Cowboy and Cowgirl fans will now be able to watch and listen to University of Wyoming Athletics events for free through the official athletics website, GoWYO.com. Effective this opening weekend, fans may watch free, live video streaming content and listen to free, live audio broadcasts on WYO-Vision. Those fans who had previously purchased an All-Access subscription through WYO-Vision will receive a pro-rated refund from CBS Interactive, UW's website provider.
Content that will be featured on WYO-Vision this upcoming weekend will include live video streaming of Wyoming volleyball matches from the UniWyo Wyoming Invitational on Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31. Fans may also listen to a live audio stream of the Cowboy Sports Network radio broadcast of the Wyoming versus Nebraska football game on Saturday, Aug. 31. That game kicks off at 6 p.m., M.T. from Lincoln, Neb., with the pregame show starting at 5 p.m., M.T. Among the Wyoming sports that will be video streamed live this coming year will be: soccer, volleyball, wrestling, women's basketball and select men's basketball games. Audio streaming of all home and away games for football, men's basketball and women's basketball will also be offered.
GoWYO.com will continue to offer free video on-demand content on all 17 UW sports teams through the official Wyoming Athletics YouTube page, YouTube.com/WyomingAthletics. Features on UW teams, coaches and student-athletes will be among the video on-demand content provided throughout the year.
The University of Wyoming will also be participating with the Mountain West Conference in streaming live content through the new Mountain West Network, which will offer extensive coverage of live video events and feature content of all Mountain West member institutions.
