Starting with the recent dedication of the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex and college tournament competition at the Wyoming Tennis Complex, the University of Wyoming Athletics Department has begun to utilize the facilities which were under construction throughout this past summer.
The Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex was officially dedicated at a ceremony on Sept. 22, the UW track and field teams have been practicing at the facility and several Cowgirl soccer games have been played there.
The Cowgirl tennis team hosted a tournament that same weekend, featuring teams from around the region and playing several matches at the improved Wyoming Tennis Complex.
A new playing floor has been installed in the Arena-Auditorium and will be ready for the start of basketball practice on Oct. 13th.
