Cowboy Joe Club Announces Benefit Improvements, 2008 Memberships Now Available

Dec. 14, 2007

The University of Wyoming's primary athletic fundraising organization, the Cowboy Joe Club, announced today improved benefits for members in 2008. In an effort to enhance the membership of the club and to increase the opportunity for scholarship funding, donors of the Cowboy Joe Club can expect some improvements for the coming giving year.

Some of the enhancements to look for include: all members of the club will receive a parking permit for home football, men's basketball and women's basketball contests; the Cowboy Joe Club has secured three additional premium parking lots for donors at athletic events, the IPF Lot (located north of the indoor practice facility), the H Lot (located at the American Heritage Center) and the X lot (located at Animal Sciences); and members in 2008 will be able to look online at their priority donor rank, renew their donation and make account changes or updates.

Renewing members of the club can expect their membership brochure, account summary and renewal application in early January of 2008, and they are encouraged to set-up their account and renew online at this site after January 1st. If donors are interested in a 2007 year-end tax-deduction, they can make their donation immediately by calling the Cowboy Joe Club office.

Again this year, each county will be holding their annual fund drives, beginning with Albany County the last week of January. The Cowboy Joe Club reminds all of its members, that donations must be received or on an automatic payment plan prior to June 30, 2008 in order to receive membership benefits. Look for all the new membership details in the Cowboy Joe Club 2008 membership brochure, expected to be released the end of December.

If you have questions regarding any of the enhancements or would like to join the Cowboy Joe Club for 2008, please contact the Cowboy Joe Club office by phone at 307-766-6242 or by email at New members can join for as little as $100 per year.
