Cowboy Joe Club Golf Tournament Postponed

Laramie, Wyo. -- Due to inclement weather, the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club has postponed its golf tournaments scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Worland and Riverton. The Worland tournament has been re-scheduled for Sat., June 14, at 9:00 a.m., at Green Hills Municipal Golf Course in Worland. The Riverton tournament has been re-scheduled for Fri., June 20, at 1:00 p.m., at the Riverton Country Club.

The Worland and Riverton Tournaments are part of the Cowboy Joe Club 18-tournament series for 2003. Among the UW Athletic Department Staff scheduled to attend the tournaments in Worland and Riverton are head volleyball coach Jim Barnes (Riverton only), football assistant coaches Marty English (Linebackers Coach) and Don Julian (Director of Football Operations) along with men's basketball assistant coach Leroy Washington and Cowboy hoops standout Joe Ries.

Each tournament will cost $75 per person if paid in advance or $90 the day of the tourney. The format is a four-person scramble.
