The University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club will hold its annual live auction on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Cheyenne Holiday Inn.
The Cowboy Joe Club is the fundraising entity for University of Wyoming Athletics and all proceeds from the auction willbenefit student-athlete scholarships at the University. There will be over 150 items up for bid including vacation packages,skiing, hunting and fishing packages, Wyoming memorabilia, courtside seats for basketball, various art and other sportsmemorabilia.
"This auction has become our single largest fund raising event each year," said Stark. "This is an event that you don'twant to miss. It is more than just an auction, there is a great dinner served and our auctioneer makes it an outstanding event."
Veteran Wyoming radio personality Dave Walsh will serve as the emcee of the program while Lex Madden of Torringtonwill serve as the auctioneer. Madden is a former World Champion auctioneer.
The program will get underway at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and the silent auction while dinner and the live auction willbegin around 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices will be $45 per person or $80 per couple, while a table of eight (8) will cost $320. Black Hills Golf Package:: Golfing for four (4) at Spearfish Canyon Country Club and two rounds of golf for four (4) at Devils TowerGolf Club and one nights lodging (2 rooms) at the First Golf Hotel in Deadwood.
His & Her Game Pack:: Go to the game in Cowboy Style in 2 coats, 2 hooded sweatshirts, 2 seat pads and 1 car flag.
Colorado Rockies Game Package:: See a 2002 Colorado Rockies game in style. This package includes 12 game tickets andthree parking passes in a Coors Field Suite for a game of choice (game based on availability).
NFR/Las Vegas Package:: Package includes two tickets to the 1st and 2nd performances of the NFR and 2 nights lodging at theMGM Grand Dec. 7-8.
Sponsorship Package:: Sponsorship of 10 programs on the Cowboy State News Network, which includes a billboardannouncement and a 30 second commercial in each program. The ad will air on 35 stations in 21 markets around Wyoming.
Hawaii Getaway Package:: This Hawaiian getaway includes seven (7) days in a condo in Kailua-Kona sometime between May5-20, 2002. The condo is a 2-bedroom-2 bath with a great ocean view.
Advertising Package:: Advertising on four (4) 12'x24' outdoor ad billboards for 30 days in Cheyenne market.
Sliding Glass Door:: Get a new sliding glass door manufactured and installed.
Cigar Box:: A hand-crafted leather humidifier cigar box with silver tgrim and bucking horse.
