"Our kids are right where they need to be, working on how to compete and how to execute," UW diving coach Yahya Radman said.
The Cowgirls took first and second place in the synchronized 1-meter dive. Junior Kari Campbell and sophomore Lauren Puglisi took the title with a tally of 210.20. Senior Holly Heussner and sophomore Keely Bishop finished second at 199.85.
"Keely had a great night and things are really starting to click for her," UW diving coach Yahya Radman said.
In the 1-meter springboard Bishop finished second at 235.90. Campbell came in fourth place in the event with a tally of 227.40. Heussner finished sixth in the event with a score of 206.30. Puglisi rounded out the Cowgirls scoring a 195.85 finishing seventh.
In the men's 3-meter springboard, sophomore Jacob Rehmeier won the event with a tally of 229.40. Freshman Ryan Russi finished second at 208.50 with fellow freshman Austin Rettinghouse coming in third at 205.60.
The Wyoming Diving Invite wraps up tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. MT.
