TUCSON, Ariz. -
The University of Wyoming Diving team concluded competition at the Arizona Wildcat Diving Invite with the platform dive on Sunday, Nov. 20.
Both the men and women dove in today's platform competition. In the men's competition, senior Valentin Schwarz finished in 12th place with a final mark of 209.10. Cowboy Derek Campbell finished the platform in 18th place with a score of 191.95. Freshman Holly Heussner finished the highest for the Cowgirls placing 23rd with a final mark of 153.75.
"I thought my kids dove pretty well today for it being their first tower diving experience since conference," Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "Tino (Schwarz) dove really well today he just had a couple small mistakes that took him out of the top 10. Holly also had a really nice day for us, she is the only one of my kids that has dove on the tower in the last six months."
