The Wyoming Cowboy and Cowgirl diving team finished the weekend of competition at the Wildcat Diving Invite, in Tucson, Ariz., on Sunday.

"We gained some valuable experience today in our first platform event," Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "This has been an excellent training trip for us."

Today's competition at the Wildcat Invite was on the platform for both men and women. Cowboy Kyle Bogner was the highest finisher for the 'Pokes in sixth place with a mark of 243.30. Freshman Derek Campbell also competed for UW placing eighth with a mark of 199.80.

On the women's side Cowgirl Allie Smith placed 27th with a score of 161.85. Freshman Carolyn Wallace placed 34th with a score of 135.20. Sasha Andrie placed just behind Wallace in 37th with a score of 117.50.

Next up for the divers will be the University of Texas Invite on Dec. 2, and then the women will return home Dec. 4 to take on the University of Northern Colorado Bears beginning at 1 p.m. at Corbett Pool.
