"We did what we had to do to win the meet and that is the bottom line," said UW head coach Tom Johnson. "Every week we are swimming better and better. Janelyn (Lilly) had an awesome 100 backstroke, Jody (Riskowski) swam a very good time in the 50 free and also swam very well in the 100 free, Allison (Schmid) had another big day by winning the 200 breast and the 400 IM."
The Cowgirls will return to action, after the Thanksgiving Holiday, when they join the men and travel to South Bend, Indiana for the Notre Dame Invite. The meet will run from Thursday, December 5th through Saturday, December 7th.
