Wyoming Divers Compete in BYU Invitational

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Oscar Delgado competed well in the platformevent as he finished second to BYU's Aaron Russell at the BYU Invite overthe weekend with 201.6 points. The Wyoming diving team competed in Provo,Utah on Nov. 30 - Dec. 1.

Delgado finished fifth in both the 1-meter diving competition with 292.45points and the 3-meter event with 301.35 points.

Adam Miller finished with 247.75 points in the 3-meter competition givinghim eight place. He also finished in tenth in the 1-meter with 240.1points.

The Cowgirls struggled a little over the weekend. Lauren Colaric concludedthe weekend with two ninth place finishes, including the 1-meter (205.95)and 3-meter (349.7) competitions. Also competing over the weekend wasChanning Kimball, Shea Boyle, Lindsay Ahrens and Ashlie Niederer. They allparticipated in the platform event.

The women's swimming and diving teams resume competition in Corbett Pool onSat. Dec. 8 against the University of Kansas at noon. Both the men andwomen then go to Irvine, Calif. for their Christmas Training from Dec. 28 -Jan. 8.
