Cowgirls Place 12 Individuals on All-MW Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Wyoming women's swimming and diving team placed 12 individuals and one relay on the All-Mountain West swimming and diving team announced by the conference on Tuesday. The Cowgirls 12 individuals and one relay was the most by the Cowgirls since 15 individuals earned All-MW honors in 2010.

Of the 12 Cowgirls garnering the honor, three earned multiple honors. Freshman Maria Harutjunjan, sophomore Keely Bishop and junior Molly Coonce earned multiple honors. Harutjunjan was the conference champion in the 100 breaststroke and placed second in the 200 breaststroke. Bishop earned All-MW in the 1-meter springboard and platform. Coonce earned her All-Conference honors in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly.

Earning All-MW for the fourth time in their career were seniors Claudia Carlson and Jordan Denny. Junior Kari Campbell earned All-MW for the second time in her career after she set the school record on the platform dive. Juniors Nicole Hlavacek and Emily Ridout earned All-Conference honors for the third time in their career. Sophomore Abby Sullivan appeared on the All-MW list for the second time in her career. Earning All-MW for the first time in their careers were Seniors Emma Dow, Aliyah Mikulski and freshman Connor Tarver.

The Cowgirls 400 medley relay team also earned All-MW honors with the team of Denny, Harutjunjan, Coonce and Ridout.
