Cowboy Diver Murdock To Compete At The 2011 Canada Cup

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Wyoming Cowboy Diver Mark Murdock will be competing at the 2011 Canada Cup FINA Diving Grand Prix in Montreal, Canada in the 10-meter synchronized platform dive on Sunday, May 1st.

"This is a great opportunity for Mark and Wyoming Swimming and Diving to have someone to compete at the international level," Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "At this meet there are going to be a lot of athletes who competed in Beijing (China) at the last Olympics. It is really good for Mark to get this experience for his future career in diving."

Murdock was selected to compete in this meet after placing well at the USA Diving Winter National Championships with his diving partner Dashel Enos, who is a member of the USA Diving Junior Elite Performance Squad. The duo placed third at the Winter Nationals with a score of 333.62.

Murdock and Enos will dive on Sunday in the 10-meter synchronized platform at the Canada Cup.
