Wyoming Swimming And Diving Signs Another Auburn Transfer

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming head swimming anddiving coach Tom Johnson announced today the signing of Lauren Colaricto attend the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2000. Here is thesignee:

Colaric, from Grand Junction, Colo., comes to Wyoming after spending ayear at Auburn University. While at Auburn, she ranked second for sixdives on both the one and three-meter springboard events. In 1998, shewas awarded the Colorado Female Diver of the year, and was the US DivingRegional Champion in both `97 and `98. Colaric also holds two schoolrecords. She coached in high school by Chuck Edgar. An outstandingstudent, she was a member of the National Honor Society, and a Scienceand Math Award winner. Lauren is the daughter of Doug Colaric and MaryJo Roth.

"Lauren is a very talented young diver, and I'm excited to work withher," said Wyoming diving coach Jason Baumann. "Her experience in thevery competitive SEC will be a huge asset to her and our program. She isvery driven both athletically and academically, and we expect her tohave a very successful career here at Wyoming."
