"This will be a great opportunity for Brandon and Kendrick to establish themselves among the best swimmers in the country," said Wyoming Head Swimming Coach Tom Johnson.
Bachman will be competing in the 200 breaststroke, and the 200 and 400 Individual Medley. Fischer will be swimming the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and the 200 IM.Tentative timelines for both swimmers in competition are as follows: Bockman and Fischer will begin competition on Tuesday, Aug. 3, with Fischer swimming the 100 Breast at 12:31 p.m., and Bockman competing in the 400 IM at 1:16 p.m. Both swimmers will then compete together in the 200 IM on Friday Aug. 6, at 11:02 am, and in the 200 Breaststroke on Saturday Aug. 7, at 11:57 a.m. (all times mountain).

This meet will determine many international teams including junior national teams and can earn both swimmers a spot in the 2012 Olympic Trials at this meet.
"They are picking a number of international teams from the meet and if they can get back into the finals at night they would have an outstanding opportunity to possibly represent their country," said Johnson. "This is a great stepping stone to qualifying for NCAAs next spring and in preparation for 2012 Olympic Trials."
The facility where both swimmers will be competing is the same facility where former UW swimmer Scott Usher qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games.
