University of Wyomingjunior Scott Usher was recently named to the 2003 USASwimming All-America Team following his second place finishin the 200m breaststroke and third place finish in the 100mbreaststroke at the 2003 Summer ConocoPhillips NationalSwimming Championships.
Usher, a Grand Island, Neb. native, earned All-Americanstatus after swimming the third fastest 100m breaststrokeand the second fastest 200m breaststroke in the nation afterlast seasons spring and summer ConocoPhillips NationalSwimming Championships.
"It is a real honor for Scott to be named to the USAAll-American team," said UW head coach Tom Johnson. "Itreally shows Scott's dedication to the sport. Hispotential is endless."
The All-America Team is comprised of swimmers who equaledor bettered the faster eighth-place time from either thespring or summer 2002 ConocoPhillips National SwimmingChampionships, while competing in the spring or summer 2003ConocoPhillips National Swimming Championships.
