Dec. 20, 2010

LARAMIE, Wyo - The Wyoming Cowboy and Cowgirl Diving Team will be traveling to the US Diving

National Training Center in Indianapolis, Ind., on Dec. 28 to train.

"This is a great opportunity for our divers to have access to things only (the US) Olympic Team has access to," Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "This is awesome for Wyoming Diving to have a chance like this."

While at the Olympic Training Center Cowboy diver Mark Murdock will have the opportunity to dive as a potential synchronized diver for the US National Diving Team. United States head national diving coach John Wingfield was very impressed with Murdock's diving at this past summer's Senior Nationals in Austin, Texas and would like to try him out with potential synchronized diving partners on the US National Team.

"This is an amazing opportunity for Mark to get the chance to show what he can do with some of the best divers in the country," Bukowski said.

While in Indianapolis Wyoming diving will dual Penn State on Jan. 2 at the US Diving Center.

UW Swimming and Diving will continue action on Jan. 15 against the UNLV Rebels in Corbett Pool.
