What is your favorite movie?
"Man on Fire"
You started out running the 800, but switched to the 400. What was the most difficult part about that transition?
"The most difficult part was getting the right speed needed for the 400m, which I knew I was lacking. That is why I was doing the 800m."
Who is the most important person in your life?
"Other than God, I would have to say my dad (and mom). He raised me all my life and is my mentor, motivation, coach and inspiration."
What advice would you give high school athletes considering running track at the collegiate level?
"The best advice I would give a high school athlete considering track at the college level is to be prepared. It is a big transition so stay focused, disciplined and determined. Stand for what you believe and do not get pulled into negative situations or things that are not of your nature."

"Meet the Browns"
What made you choose track as your sport?
"I did karate, I was in competitive swimming and one day while running in school sports, my teacher told me to join a club and I did. I did swimming and track together and decided to choose track because I realized that it was easier to get a track scholarship than a swimming. Also I love track."
Do you like/participate in any other sports?
"I used to do competitive swimming. I also did karate (brown belt)."
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
"I am extremely shy, loving and humble. However, when I am around my family I talk a lot. I usually put people's feelings and needs before mine. I love children a lot and one day I hope to adopt a child that is less fortunate."

What is your plan after you graduate from school?
"I want to continue with a career in track and if this does not work out, I would do my masters in Environmental Engineering."
What is the one thing you miss most about home?
"Being with my family and friends and the sunshine (lol)"
Do you have a favorite memory of your time running track for Wyoming?
"Winning indoor conference in 2010 and therefore qualifying for NCAA nationals."
Do you have any pre-meet or pre-event rituals you do to stay calm?
"I just pray, talk to my best friend and or dad and listen to music."
Is there any professional track athlete you look up to?
"Michael Johnson and Allyson Felix"
You received interest from several other schools to run track. Why did you choose Wyoming?
"Honestly, I am still trying to figure out the answer to this question. Lol. However, I do not regret my decision."
