LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The University of Wyoming track and field teams had a great end to the regular season on Friday in preparation for the upcoming Mountain West Conference Championships at their last home meet, the Robert Shine Invitational.
"For the third or fourth meet in a row we had quite a few personal best's and hopefully they don't stop before heading to the conference meet next weekend," said UW head coach Don Yentes. "We had some very nice performances today and I was very pleased with our team as a whole today."
The Cowboys and Cowgirls had 14 total titles, eight coming from the men and six coming from the women.
The men were led by junior Jeremiah James in the triple jump who continues to climb the UW all-time list as he entered his name below his coach's for second best.
