Jan. 19, 2015

LARAMIE, Wyo. - University of Wyoming track and field coach Bryan Berryhill announced Monday that 12 student-athletes have committed to compete as Cowboys and Cowgirls this fall.

"The biggest thing with this recruiting class was we wanted to address the depth within our program," Berryhill said. "If you look at these student-athletes, we have representative in each event area that can come in and score points for us right away. These are athletes who could get a couple points right away and eventually develop into those all-conference performers that we expect. I'm very proud of all the hard work our coaching staff put in to bring this class of talented student-athletes to the University of Wyoming."

UW's newest additions include student-athletes from a total of seven states, including five from Colorado, and one international signee. Several more student-athletes are expected to join Wyoming's 2015 class when the spring signing period starts April 15.
