UW Track and Field Heads to Adidas Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

This Saturday, the University of Wyoming track and field team will compete in the Adidas Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. Competition will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will continue until 7:00 p.m.

The Bob Devaney Sports Center Track will host Wyoming for the second time this season. UW traveled there earlier this year for the Holiday Inn Classic in mid-January. 29 teams will participate Saturday in the non-team scoring meet.

The University of Wyoming men's team enters the weekend as the 32nd ranked team in the nation by trackshark.com. They are led by junior thrower Jake Shanklin who over the weekend was honored with Mountain West Conference Athlete of the Week honors and is currently the owner of the longest 35lb weight throw in the nation.
