Wyoming Track and Field To Compete at Nationally Broadcasted Drake Relays

LARAMIE, Wyo. - The University of Wyoming track and field teams will send out two contingents this weekend. One portion of the team will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the well known Drake Relays. The rest of the UW team will compete in the Don Kirby Invitational inAlbuquerque, N.M., on Saturday.

B2 Networks, in conjunction with DBStv announced earlier this week it will broadcast more than 12 hours of coverage from the Drake Relays this Friday, April 28, beginning at 5 p.m. CDT and Saturday, April 29, starting at 10:30 a.m., CDT. The broadcasts, made in conjunction with DBStv, will mark the first time world class Track and Field willbe seen on B2 Networks.

Fans wanting to watch the Drake Relays via B2 will need a high speed internet connection and Windows Media Player 9 or higher. Each session will cost $10 dollars and can be accessed through the meet website www.drakerelays.com, the Drake University broadcasting site www.drakebroadcasting.com or by clicking on http://www.b2livetv.com/hockey/MISC/DrakeEvent/forward.htm. A portion of each pay per view subscription will be given back to the university.
