Gervais earned first in the shot put with a mark of 63' 11.5", which broke his own school record. In the hammer throw, he had a throw of 217' 3", which is a season-high and the best in the league by more than eight feet. Gervais finished his day with a first-place finish in the discus with a mark of 203-6, a New Mexico Track and Field Stadium record.
