LARAMIE, Wyo. -
University of Wyoming track and field head coach Don Yentes has announced the signing of Aaron Praska to a National Letter of Intent to run for the Cowboys in the 2010-11 season.
Praska a senior at Longmont High School in Longmont, Colo., is one of the top hurdlers in the state of Colorado. At the 2009 State Championships, Praska finished second in the 300-meter hurdles and third in the 110-meter hurdles. Praska's personal best times in the 300 and 110-meter hurdles are 38.10 and 14.53 respectively.
"We are thrilled to have Aaron join our program and he is a guy that will step in right away and help out our team," said Yentes. "He has tremendous upside and I look forward to him improving on his already steller times during his career here at Wyoming."
Aaron will not be the only Praska competing in track and field at the Division I level, as his older sister Bethany Praska is a junior middle distance runner at the University of Iowa.
