Wyoming finished 15th on both the men's andwomen's sides at the District VII Championships. The championships tookplace at Collindale Golf Course in Ft. Collins, Colo. Greg Schabronearned All-District honors with a 22nd-place finish. Schabron ran the10K course in 31:37, with an average mile of 5:05. Schabron wasfollowed by Chris Jons (33:10), Nathan McLeland (34:42), Cody Brown(35:10) and Paul Rigsby (37:21). The Cowgirls were led by freshmanJennifer Vessa, who ran the 5K in 19:07. Vessa was trailed by Amy Hill(19:26), Erin Renken (19:46), Stephanie Hanks (19:55), Tara LaMay(20:17), Lisa Jones (20:43) and Jola Wallowing Bull (21:00). SouthernUtah University won the men's race and Brigham Young University won thewomen's.
The Wyoming indoor track and field teams willkick off the season on Dec. 4 at the Wyoming Alumni Earlybird inLaramie.
