LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Jay Straight scored 25 points and dished out 10 assistsin leading Wyoming past Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne 100-59 Monday night.
Straight hit 8-of-12 shots from the floor and sank all eight of his freethrows for the Cowboys (8-6).
All but one Wyoming player scored in the game, which saw the Cowboys grab a52-26 lead at the half and shot 56.5 percent from the floor.
Wyoming also outrebounded the Mastodons 47-26.
Peter Campbell led the Mastodons (3-13) with 15 points on 5-of-5 shootingfrom 3-point territory. David Simon had 13 points and Jason Malone 11.
The Mastodons shot just 36 percent from the field, including 8-of-243-pointers.
