LAS VEGAS - Kevin Simmons scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds tolead UNLV to a 96-75 win over Wyoming Thursday night.
The Rebels (12-7, 5-1 WAC) outscored Wyoming (11-6, 2-4) 22-6 in the game'sfirst 8:30 and cruised to the win.
Mark Dickel and Shawn Marion keyed the initial run with six points each.
UNLV used an 18-6 run later in the first half to build a 48-23 lead with3:21 left. Brian Keefe ignited the run with nine points, all on 3-pointers.
Keefe finished the game with 16 points and Marion added 15 points and 9rebounds. Kaspars Kambala had 12 points and Donovan Stewart added 10 points forthe Rebels.
LeDarion Jones had 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Cowboys. JustinFrench had 14 points, while Chris McMillian had 11 points and John Petterssonchipped in with 10 for Wyoming.
