AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Ugo Udezue hit 12 of 19 field goals andgrabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to lead Wyoming to an 82-61 Western AthleticConference game victory over cold-shooting Air Force Saturday.
Wyoming (12-6, 3-4) snapped a two-game WAC losing streak. Air Force (8-10,1-6) lost its fifth straight conference game.
Udezue, a 6-foot-8-inch sophomore who played for the Nigerian national teamduring his youth, scored five of his game-high 33 points during a 23-8 runearly in the second half. John Pettersson added 14 points and Chris McMillian12 for Wyoming.
Steve Kincanon came off the bench to lead Air Force with 10 points.
Air Force missed their first 10 shots and made just two of 19 in fallingbehind 13-5 in the first eight minutes of play. The Falcons made just seven of38 first-half shots, for 18 percent shooting.
Wyoming hit only 37 percent, or 10 of 27, in the first half. But Wyoming hitseven of seven shots during a game-deciding four minute second-half run thatthat put the Cowboys ahead 59-40.
Wyoming extended the lead to 25 points, 77-52, with 4:55 to play.
