LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Brad Jones scored 32 points, making 17-of-18 free throws, and had five assists as Wyoming beat San Diego State 80-71 on Saturday and snapped a four-game losing streak.

Brandon Ewing contributed 16 points for the Cowboys (14-12 overall, 5-7 Mountain West), who outrebounded the Aztecs 42-30.

The loss broke a five-game winning streak by SDSU (18-8, 7-5).

Brandon Heath led the Aztecs with 22 points on 7-of-22 shooting from the field. Jerome Habel added 18, and Mohamed Abukar 16.

Wyoming, which led 37-33 at the half, scored 16 fast-break points in the game to just two for San Diego State.

The contest marked the return of Wyoming forward Joseph Taylor from a three-game suspension for his role in a fight during a game Jan. 30 at New Mexico. Taylor played 22 minutes Saturday and had no points, missing all three of his shots, but did have three key blocks.
