PROVO, Utah (AP) - Travis Hansen scored 23 points to lead Brigham Young to a69-50 victory over Wyoming on Thursday.

BYU (21-7, 10-3 Mountain West) has now won five straight over Wyoming (20-8,8-5) in Provo and swept the Cowboys this year for the first time since the1995-96 season.

With the victory, BYU is now tied for first place in the Mountain WestConference with Utah. BYU's 10-3 conference record is their best start in fouryears.

Mark Bigelow added 13 points while Rafael Araujo scored 12 and pulled down agame high nine rebounds.

Wyoming shot only 39 percent for the game. Uche Nsonwu-Amadi led the Cowboyswith 15 points. Donta Richardson, the Cowboys' leading scorer at 18.2 pointsper game, was held to nine points.

Leading 5-4 three minutes into the game, BYU went on a 11-2 run to take a16-6 lead with 12:29 left in the half on a basket from Hansen. A basket byBigelow put BYU on top 27-16.

Wyoming cut the Cougar's lead to 30-25 with 1:28 left in the half before BYUscored the final six points before intermission. BYU shot 51 percent in thefirst half.

Jake Shoff extended BYU's lead to 49-33 with 13:43 left in the game. TheCougars biggest lead was 66-40 following a bucket by Jared Jensen with 4:15left.
