LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The Wyoming Cowboys finished up their exhibition season on Saturday night with a 91-81 home win over the EA Sports West All-Stars. Wyoming launched 34 three-point attempts in the victory, hitting 14 shots from the arc.
UW outshot the EA Sports squad 50% to 42% in the first half to give themselves a ten-point halftime lead. That lead would prove to be enough as each team scored 41 points in the second half.
EA Sports West was led by former UCLA guard Ray Young who scored 21 points in 32 minutes. The former UCLA trio, including Matt Barnes and Ed O'Bannon, contributed 52 of EA Sports' 81 total points.
Attendance was 7,091 for the exhibition game.
Wyoming will open their regular season at home against the Southern Illinois Salukis on Saturday, November 22 at 7:00 pm.
