LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Steve Leven and Daaron Brown each scored 16 points to help lift Wyoming to an 83-70 win over Northern Colorado Tuesday night.

The Cowboys outscored the Bears 17-8 to pull away from a 37-31 halftime lead and never trailed again. Leven had six of Wyoming's final eight points.

Michael Gordy scored six straight as UNC went on an 8-0 run with 11:44 to go, but the Bears (0-4) couldn't get closer than 62-57 during the second half.

Chris Anderson had a double-double for the Cowboys (3-1) with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Brad Jones added 14 points, and Brandon Ewing scored 11.

Sean Taibi led UNC with 16 points and Dwayne Birden added 11 points and eight rebounds.

UNC jumped out to a 15-10 lead early in the first half as the Bears made six-of-10 3-point shots. But Leven scored eight straight points in a 10-2 run that put the Cowboys up 22-17.
