LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Anthony Blakes had 21 points and Josh Davis 19 to leadWyoming past Nevada 83-64 on Saturday.
The Cowboys (4-2) took the lead for good while the score remained in thesingle-digits. Their biggest lead was 71-48 with 5:32 remaining.
The Wolf Pack (1-4) trailed 38-25 at the half, after giving up 12 points on13 turnovers.
Wyoming prevailed even though junior center Ugo Udezue did not play becauseof a knee problem. Udezue has averaged 9.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Davis filled in at center and on top of his scoring contributed 14 rebounds.Sophomore guard Chris McMillian added 12 points and senior forward JustinFrench 10.
"Other than some missed layups, we shot the ball pretty well," Wyomingcoach Steve McClain said.
Nevada's Joao Santos scored 14 points and had eight rebounds, helping theWolf Pack out-rebound Wyoming 42-41. Adrian McCullough also had 14 points.
