BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Bryan Defares hit a desperation fadeaway jumper overWyoming's Ronell Mingo with less than a second remaining to give Boise State a77-74 victory Wednesday night.

With 11 seconds left and the score tied at 74, the 6-foot-3 Defares took theinbounds pass following a Boise State (4-4) timeout and dribbled through thelane, where he was met by the 6-9 Mingo.

As the clock ran down to less than a second, Defares lofted hisgame-winning, 10-foot shot over Mingo's outstretched arms from the right sideof the key and was fouled by the Cowboy center. Defares then completed thethree-point play with 0.1 second left.

Paris Corner scored with 17 seconds remaining to tie it for the Cowboys(5-3) at 74.

The Broncos' Abe Jackson hit all five of his 3-point attempts in the secondhalf to lead all scorers with 27 points. Jackson, who hit just one of four3-point attempts in the first half, added six rebounds and four assists.

Marcus Bailey led Wyoming with 16 points while Corner and Donta Richardsonadded 15 apiece.

Led by Jackson and his 3-point barrage, Boise State took a 71-67 lead with3:07 remaining.

Wyoming was able to get back into the game when BSU's C.J. Williams hit justtwo of eight free throw attempts in the final 1:32.

With the Broncos holding a 74-72 lead, Williams missed a pair of free throwswith 29 seconds left, allowing Corner to tie the game 12 seconds later.

Richard Morgan and Booker Nabors scored 15 points each for Boise State.

The win was the 100th for Boise State coach Rod Jensen.
