LARAMIE, Wyo. -
For the second consecutive year, the Wyoming Cowboy basketball team held a clinic for special needs individuals this past Sunday in the Arena-Auditorium.
"It was great to host a clinic again this year and make this event a yearly occurrence for our team," said UW head coach Heath Schroyer. "This is something that is very special to our family for obvious reasons. It is so nice to give something back and have our team interact with some tremendous people. They truly inspire us."
The event, which was organized by the Cowboy basketball program, Ark Regional Services of Laramie and Wyoming Special Olympics, gave special needs individuals an opportunity to play with the current Cowboy basketball team. The clinic featured drills that focused on shooting, passing and dribbling, as well as an autograph session with the team.
