Fresh off of a buzzer-beating win over New Mexico last Saturday, the Wyoming Cowboys will hope to take some momentum with them on the road this Wednesday when they travel to Fort Worth, Texas to take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Mountain West Conference play. The game, which will be televised by The Mtn., is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. (MT) in TCU's Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

A Look at the Matchup with TCU:
With last Saturday's buzzer-beating win over New Mexico (67-66), the Cowboys improved to 8-8 overall and 1-1 in MWC play. The Pokes have posted an 8-2 record at home this season, but are still searching for their first road win of the season.

TCU, who is in the midst of a four-game losing streak, will enter Wednesday's game with a 9-8 overall record and an 0-2 mark in MWC games. The Horned Frogs have had a tough start to league play, losing at home to No. 6 San Diego State (66-53) and falling at UNLV (83-49).

TCU returns three starters and four letterwinners from last season. In 2009-10, the frogs posted an overall record of 13-19 and finished seventh in the MWC with a league mark of 5-11.

    Each Team's Leaders:
Sophomore Desmar Jackson continues to play very well for the Cowboys. He has now scored in double figures in 13 consecutive games as well as 25 of his last 27 overall games. He is the third leading scorer in the MWC with a 16.0 points per game average. He also ranks second in the league in steals with 2.40 per contest.

Two Cowboys, sophomore Daylen Harrison and junior Adam Waddell, played especially well against New Mexico last Saturday and look to build on those performances. Harrison led the Cowboys in scoring with a career high 17 points. Waddell, who has missed eight games this season due to injury, recorded season highs of 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocks against the Lobos.

TCU is led by junior guard Ronnie Moss and sophomore forward Garlon Green. Moss enters Wednesday's game averaging 14.5 points and 3.9 assists per game. Green is currently averaging 11.9 points and 4.6 rebounds a game. Moss ranks eighth in the MWC in scoring, while Green is ranked No. 16.

Wyoming Trails in the Series with TCU, 8-7:
The series between Wyoming and TCU is a relatively short one, with Wednesday's game being just the 16th meeting. TCU leads the series 8-7 and are 6-1 in games played in Fort Worth. Since TCU joined the MWC, the Frogs lead the series 5-4.

The last two meetings in Fort Worth have been very close games. Last season TCU held on for a 62-59 win, and in 2009 TCU beat the Cowboys 79-78 in overtime.

Four Cowboys Have Now Scored 500 Points in Their Wyoming Careers:
There are four members of the 2010-11 Cowboy roster who have scored at least 500 points during their careers in the Brown and Gold. Those Cowboys include junior Afam Muojeke, senior Djibril Thiam, sophomore Desmar Jackson and junior Adam Waddell.

Muojeke has scored 808 points, Thiam has scored 617 points, Jackson is at 606 points and Waddell just reached the milestone last Saturday and has scored 507 points.
