Laramie, Wyo. -
The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team opens Mountain West play this Saturday versus nationally-ranked New Mexico. Both the Cowboys and Lobos are 14-2 entering Saturday's conference opener, and are tied for the second best record in the Mountain West. The Lobos are receiving votes in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Coaches polls, ranking No. 30 in both polls. Saturday's game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium.
UW fans are reminded of several special ticket offers available for the conference season.
The Cowboy Conference Plan offers fans a ticket to all seven of Wyoming's home games during Mountain West play at a cost of $84 for an adult ticket and $40 for each youth ticket. Fans can save $28 off an adult ticket by purchasing the conference plan rather than purchasing single-game tickets. Fans can also save $16 off a youth ticket by buying the seven-game conference pack. Single-game tickets to all UW men's games are $16 for adults and $8 for youth.
Members of The Stampede, the UW student fan club, will be able to purchase up to two guest tickets for each of the Cowboys' conference games for $10 each. The guest tickets are available at the Wyoming Student Union Information Desk and members must have their Stampede ID card to take advantage of the deal. Guest tickets must be purchased prior to gameday.
Tickets to all UW games can be purchased by calling the Wyoming Athletics Ticket Office at 877-WYO-FAN1 (877-996-3261) or going online at WyomingAthletics.com.
