Saturday's Wyoming vs. Air Force game will be a battle for first place in the Mountain West Conference. The game will tip off at 2:00 p.m., Mountain Time from Wyoming's Arena-Auditorium.

Both Wyoming and Air Force come into Saturday's game undefeated in Mountain West Conference play. Wyoming is 2-0 in the MWC and 11-5 overall. In league play, UW has defeated defending MWC Champion and preseason favorite San Diego State (66-65) on the road, and won an overtime game over UNLV (86-76) this past Wednesday in Laramie.

Air Force is 3-0 in the league and 16-1 overall. The Falcons also defeated UNLV (56-50) at home in conference play. Air Force's other two conference wins were at home over New Mexico (65-57) and on the road at Colorado State (81-75).

The third team tied for the league lead heading into Saturday is BYU, which is 2-0. The Cougars travel to Las Vegas to play the Runnin' Rebels on Saturday.

Air Force enters Saturday's game ranked No. 15 in the nation in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll and No. 18 in the Associated Press Media Poll.

Wyoming has enjoyed a great deal of success at home against nationally-ranked teams over the past 11 seasons. In fact, UW has posted a 6-0 record at home against the last six nationally-ranked opponents to play in Wyoming's Arena-Auditorium.

The last nationally-ranked team to defeat UW in the Dome of Doom was the No. 17 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats on Dec. 17, 1994, in a game that saw LaZelle Durden hit three free throws with no time left on the clock for a one-point victory (81-80).
