LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming sophomore guard Brandon Ewing has received All-District 13 honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The NABC announced its 2007 Division I All-District Teams on Wednesday.

Ewing was named to the All-District 13 Second Team. The Chicago native currently ranks No. 23 in the nation in scoring, averaging 20.3 points per game. He also leads the Mountain West Conference in scoring this season. Ewing was one of seven Mountain West Conference players to earn All-District 13 honors. An eighth MWC player, Wendell White of UNLV, was named Second Team All-District 15 by the NABC.

The NABC teams are selected by member coaches from across the country. There is a First and Second Team named for each of the NABC's 15 Districts. Each team consists of five individuals on the First Team and five on the Second Team for a total of 150 student-athletes. Those 150 student-athletes will now become eligible for NABC Division I All-America consideration. The NABC All-America team will be announced at the conclusion of the 2006-07 NCAA regular season.
