LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The deadline for renewal of season tickets for the exciting 2002-2003 Wyoming basketball campaign is fast approaching, according to University of Wyoming Athletics Director Lee Moon.
Fans with season tickets must renew their seats by Sept. 30, Moon said. If those tickets are not renewed by that date they will be released, and will go on sale to the general public Oct. 15. Individual game tickets will go on sale Nov. 4.
Moon also announced ticket prices for the Cowboys' outstanding home basketball season, which includes 16 dates in the Arena-Auditorium, and the Wyoming Shootout in Casper.
Season tickets for the Mountain West Conference's defending champion are priced at $188 for seats below concourse level, and $166 for seats above the concourse. Not only do season tickets assure fans of reserved seating throughout the season, but also insure substantial savings over purchasing tickets game-by-game. For example, if an individual buys tickets for the lower level on a game-by-game basis for the entire home schedule, the cost will be $240. For the upper level the cost will be $208.
In addition, a season family plan is available. A family may buy four season seats for sections A1 and E1 for $424, a savings of $240 off the single-game price.
Individual game tickets are priced at $12, lower, and $11, upper for all non-conference games but South Carolina, which is priced at $18, lower and $15, upper. All Mountain West Conference games are scaled at $18, lower and $15, above the concourse.
For the Cowgirl and Cowboy doubleheader with Texas Tech in Casper, tickets are $18 reserved and $15 general admission. Tickets for the Shootout may be reserved through the Casper Events Center Ticket Office, 1-800-442-2256.
