The University of Wyoming Athletics Department announced today that non-conference single-game tickets for Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball will go on sale this weekend. Fans can purchase online at GoWYO.com beginning Friday at 5 p.m. MT, or through the Wyoming Athletics Ticket Office at 877-WYO-FAN1 (877-996-3261) starting Monday at 8 a.m. MT. The ticket office is located on the west side of the Arena-Auditorium.
The Cowboys' 2013-14 non-conference schedule features 10 home games, including the season-opening exhibition against CU-Colorado Springs on Thursday, Oct. 31. The Pokes also welcome Larry Brown and SMU to the Double A on Friday, Dec. 20, while battling regional foes Montana State on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Northern Colorado on Sunday, Dec. 22. Single-game tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for children, ages 3-18. Student guest and faculty/staff tickets are available for single games for $14.
The Cowgirls' non-conference slate totals seven home games, including an outreach game versus Montana State-Northern on Friday, Nov. 8 in Sheridan, Wyo. The UW women open the season with an exhibition against Chadron State on Friday, Nov. 1 in Laramie. The Cowgirls face three teams that played in last year's postseason in the Arena-Auditorium in 2013-14. The Cowgirls host NCAA participant Colorado on Wednesday, Dec. 4, the Ball State Cardinals, a WNIT participant, on Saturday, Dec. 14, followed by the Montana Lady Griz on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Lady Griz won last season's Big Sky tournament to earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Prices for single-game tickets are $13 for adults and $7 for children. Student guest and faculty/staff tickets for single games are $10. Those purchasing tickets for the Nov. 8 game in Sheridan should be aware that seating is very limited in the venue. Tickets can only be purchased online or through the UW Athletics Ticket Office. There is a limit of six tickets per customer.
