Special Ticket Packages Offered for Saturday's Football-Basketball Doubleheader

LARAMIE, Wyo. - As Saturday's football matchup between Mountain West leaders Wyoming and TCU approaches, the University of Wyoming Athletics Department is offering special ticket packages to the game, and wants to make fans aware of some changes to Saturday's schedule.

UW Athletics is offering a special "Pair Up With the Pokes" package for Saturday's football game. In a "Pair Up With the Pokes" package, fans will receive two game tickets, two t-shirts, two Pepsi products and two hot dogs for a total price of $66. The regular price for one game ticket to the Wyoming-TCU game is $40. To take advantage of the "Pair Up With the Pokes" promotion, the package must be must be purchased by Friday, Nov. 4. This package will not be available on game day.

There is also a two-game package available for the Wyoming-TCU game this Saturday and the Wyoming-New Mexico game on Saturday, Nov. 19. For a total price of $50, fans may purchase a ticket to each of those final two home games. That is a savings of $20 off the regular price for a ticket to each of those games. The TCU regular ticket price is $40 and the regular price for a ticket to the New Mexico game is $30 for a total of $70.

This Saturday (Nov. 5) Pepsi Tailgate Park will not be open. The Cowboy Walk has also been cancelled for this Saturday. The Cowboy Joe Club is moving their pregame event from tailgate park to the concourse of the Arena-Auditorium this Saturday. The Cowboy Joe Club pregame function will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Kickoff for Saturday's game is Noon.

Following the football game, the Wyoming Cowboy Basketball team will be hosting Colorado State-Pueblo in the first game of the season for the Cowboys. That game will tip off at 6 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium.

Doors to the Arena-Auditorium will open at 3:30 p.m., immediately following the football game to allow fans to warm up and eat some dinner prior to the basketball game. Concession stands will be open in the Arena, and the video board will be carrying other college football games leading up to the Cowboy Basketball game.

Tickets are still available for sale to the Cowboy Basketball game. For fans who have a ticket stub from Saturday's football game, they may purchase a ticket to the basketball game for $5.00 by taking their football ticket stub to any of the Arena-Auditorium ticket booths.
