Cowboys to Host Prestigious BCA Invitational, Nov. 13-15

The University of Wyoming will host one of the nation's most prestigious men's basketball tournaments on Sunday-Tuesday, Nov. 13-15 in Wyoming's Arena-Auditorium. The eight-team Black Coaches Association (BCA) Invitational will feature four games on each day, with a champion being crowned Tuesday night Nov. 15.

The eight-team field for this year's BCA Invitational features a group of teams that share rich basketball traditions.

Alabama State
•Advanced to the SWAC Championship game in 2005

•An NCAA Sweet 16 Participant in 2003
•Defeated No. 20 Ranked Mississippi State and No. 14 Ranked Louisville in the 2003 NCAA Tournament

•An NCAA Tournament Participant in 2004

Coppin State
•Head Coach Ron Mitchell enters his 20th season as head coach
•Each graduating class that Mitchell has coached at Coppin State has won at least one conference title during their college careers

•An NCAA Tournament Participant in 2004,
Lehigh participated in the Play-in game in the 2004 NCAA Tournament

•A member of the always powerful Big Ten Conference

An NCAA Tournament Participant in 2000, 2002 and 2003

•An NCAA Tournament Participant in 2002, defeating No. 6 Ranked Gonzaga
•Wyoming is the second winningest program in Mountain West Conference history

First-round matchups are listed below. Games are scheduled each day at Noon, 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Mountain Time.

The winners of the first-round matchups will move on to the championship bracket. Teams losing in the first round will move into the consolation bracket.

On Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 14-15, consolation bracket games will be played at Noon and 2:00 p.m. Championship bracket games on Monday and Tuesday will be played at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
