This Sunday's meeting between the University of Wyoming and the University of Colorado will be the first meeting between the two Front Range rivals since Dec. 9, 1998. Wyoming enters Sunday's game with a 3-1 record this season. CU is 2-2 for the season. The game is scheduled to tip off at 2:00 p.m., from the Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colo.

The last time the two Front Range rivals met was in current UW head coach Steve McClain's first season at Wyoming. The Cowboys won that game in Laramie, Wyo., by one point, 67-66.

While the Wyoming Cowboys and Colorado Buffaloes didn't play each other for seven seasons from 1999-2000 through 2005-06, the two teams do have a long history playing one another. Wyoming leads the series with CU by a three-game margin. The Cowboys have won 37 previous times, while losing 34 to the Buffs.

Over the past 20 seasons from the 1986-87 season to the current season, UW and CU have played 13 times. During that 20-year period, Wyoming has dominated the series, winning nine of those 13 games.

Although FOX Sports Rocky Mountain is televising the game in the state of Colorado, the telecast of the Wyoming at Colorado men's basketball game will not be available in the state of Wyoming due to Big 12 Conference television guidelines. The Big 12 television agreement does not allow University of Colorado games on FSN-Rocky Mountain to be televised outside of the state of Colorado.

As with all Cowboy Basketball games, the game will be broadcast on Learfield Sports' Cowboy Sports Network, beginning one-half hour prior to tip off.
