BlueCross BlueShield of Wyoming Shootout Just Around the Corner

Tickets for the 2005 BlueCross BlueShield of Wyoming Shootout are now on sale. This year's event will be held Saturday, December 17th in Casper, Wyo. at the Casper Events Center. The format will once again be a doubleheader with the Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team taking on Chadron State at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Cowboys versus Montana State at 4:00 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $35 for VIP seating to $15 for general admission seats and admit fans to both games. Tickets can be purchased through the Casper Events Center Ticket Office and its outlets starting November 4th. To contact the Casper Events Center, call toll-free at 1-800-442-2256 or 577-3030.

The First Interstate Bank Shootout Reception will be held at 7 p.m. December 16th at the Holiday Inn. Cowboy head coach Steve McClain, Cowgirl head coach Joe Legerski and UW Athletics Director Gary Barta are scheduled to briefly speak. Reception tickets are $15.00 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets for this event can be secured through the Casper Events Center or by calling the Cowboy Joe Club office at 307-766-6242.

Also on December 17th, the Cowboy Joe Club will host a pre-game reception at Sidelines Sports Bar in Casper from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

From 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16th at the Eastridge Mall there will be a live radio remote with Pepsi giveaways, games and inflatables for the kids. Fans can also take pictures with Wildfire, UW Cheerleaders and Pistol Pete, and can buy tickets for Saturday's basketball games.
