Wyoming's opponent on Wednesday, Dec. 6 will be the University of Denver. The Cowboys will enter Wednesday night's 7 p.m. contest with a 6-1 record. Denver will come into the game with a 1-7 overall mark.
Beginning with the 1914-15 season, the Pokes and the Pioneers have built a long, rich rivalry. This year's meeting is the 142nd, and will also mark the 15th consecutive season that Wyoming and Denver have played.
The series ranks as the fourth longest rivalry for Wyoming. The only longer rivalries for UW are its ones with Colorado State (204), BYU (163) and Utah (159).
The series ranks as the second longest for DU. The only longer rivalry for Denver is against Colorado State (158).
There is no television coverage of Wednesday's game. The Cowboy Sports Network radio broadcast will begin a 6:30 p.m.
